Chemical peels are applications of different acids in different concentrations that act at the level of the epidermis producing a separation and a chemical exfoliation of the skin cells. Peels based on mandelic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, modified phenol, among others, can be applied.

The effect of these acids on the skin sends to the deep dermis the instruction to produce new skin. In this way, the peels allow improving the appearance and tonality of the skin as they attack skin aging, fine wrinkles, active acne, and blemishes. The process of peeling can last up to 7 days.
